Inside Peter Andre’s very glam surprise 50th birthday lunch with private chef
Peter Andre celebrated his 50th birthday in style, enjoying a surprise birthday meal complete with a private chef after jetting back from Dubai.
Taking to Instagram, his wife Emily MacDonagh shared a video with her 478,000 followers of the lunch surprise, which took place at The Sussex Barn Estates.
She started by panning around the room showing the incredible decorations which included a giant lit-up "50" and silver, black and white balloons everywhere.
Above the French doors to the garden was a "happy 50th birthday" sign next to a Tuxedo cake on a shiny gold pillar.
The impressive cake was huge and had several layers of chocolate for anybody to get stuck into.
The lunch also organised a private chef to cook a yummy three-course meal for all the 15 guests too.
The Sussex Barn Estates shared a glimpse into the hard work by French chef Giovanni Zagni who was pictured meticulously putting together the starters of mozzarella stacked with tomatoes and drizzled with balsamic vinegar.
For the main was a top notch chicken dish and for desert they all had a layered chocolate mousse with a creamy sauce.
Emily wrote on Instagram: "Just to say a massive thank you to Claire Powell and The Sussex Barn Estates for organising a surprise birthday lunch for Peter this weekend. Really yummy food from [the chef] which was such a special treat for us all.
"Oh an amazing balloons from Busy B Event Planners! Thanks so much again Claire, you really made it special!"
In another post she gushed over her husband sharing adroable selfies of them together over the last decade.
She penned: "Happy birthday to my lovely lovely hubby. It's your 50th birthday and your 11th since we've been a couple! Time truly flies when you're having fun. Thank you for everything you do for our family, we all love you so much xxxxxx"
Last month the family went to Dubai for some early celebrations to mark the big milestone.
Peter shared some dreamy snaps of them all having fun in the sun at the Atlantis The Royal hotel – dubbed one of the most ultra-luxury hotels in the world.
The dad-of-four said he had the best start to his 50th year, writing: "I can't tell you how grateful I am for this unforgettable time with my family. I'm back home now and smiling from ear to ear.
"Theo actually cried when we left and said it was the best time ever (apart from being in Australia with my mum). I'm not 50 yet, can I do it again next week????? Unforgettable!"
