Inside Wes Nelson and Arabella Chi’s new London flat
In Love Island terms three months is nigh on an eternity, so it is not unusual that Wes Nelson, 21, and Arabella Chi, 29, have moved in together at what would typically be dubbed whirlwind speed. What does change things, however, is the fact that they didn’t actually meet while living together in the famed Majorcan villa. The two were on different seasons of the show, Wes appearing in 2018 and Arabella one of the stars of this summer.
But regardless of meeting without camera footage to prove it, the duo have been inseparable ever since. Earlier this month Wes told OK! Magazine: “I haven’t left Arabella’s since the first time I stayed over right at the start of our romance. There was never a set moment when we decided I’d move in, it just happened.
“We’ve just got our own place together now but it doesn’t feel like a big jump as it’s what we’re already used to.”
Although their London apartment is brand new, the lovers are busy nesting down and making it their own. Let’s take a look inside…
The couple are so excited about their humble abode and have been detailing its decoration on Instagram. It is rapidly coming together and looks every inch the stylish pad of two twenty-something stars.
Wes and Arabella’s kitchen is pristine in white, with matching kitchen appliances. There is plenty of storage space with floor to ceiling storage and built-in overhead lights so they can see clearly.
The kitchen worktops are a dappled marble that adds a more natural look to the ultra modern space. This is complimented by the wooden apparatus, including a chopping board and mixing bowls.
At least one of the pair must be a competent cook to have such a large spice selection. Having this on display adds to the earthy vibe, and even if it doesn’t get much use it looks like a pretty cool piece of kit!
The kitchen is open plan and joined to the television room which is complete with the comfiest looking charcoal velvet sofa and fluffy grey blankets. Perfect for coupling up in front of the upcoming Love Island winter series.
The room has large windows that look out over the city skyline. In the corner you can also see a sign, yet to be erected, that says ‘WELCOME TO THE MADHOUSE’.
The couple are clearly feeling festive already with a Christmas tree waiting to be decorated in the corner of the room. We can also see candles on the windowsill that will add to the cosy and calm vibe on bitter winter nights.
The large apartment comes with a spare room which is ‘massive’, as Wes wrote on Instagram. But what have they chosen to use it for? Find out in the next pic…
A recording studio of course! Now that Wes is competing on The X Factor: Celebrity with his group No Love Lost, he is spending his spare time practising.
The room even comes with its own recording mic so that Wes can perfect his impressive rapping. Let’s hope Arabella is a fan of his music…
