Kate Middleton is dipping into her fashion archives.

The Princess of Wales, 41, released a video with UK radio host and TV personality Roman Kemp today as part of her “Shaping Us” campaign, and in the clip, she sports a shearling jacket that brings back memories of her early days in the royal family.

Wearing a cozy brown “Darwin” jacket by L.K. Bennett that she first wore in 2011, the royal takes a walk through the woods with Kemp in the video as they discuss the importance of mental health and how it shapes children’s futures.

The sheepskin jacket features a furry collar and cuffs and is clearly a favorite as she’s been spotted in the piece on five different off-duty occasions dating back to December 2011.

Her decision to pull out a 12-year-old coat is a marked departure from her recent fashion routine.

Middleton’s new uniform has become a mix of newer solid-color (often beige) wool coats with a knit dress or skirt set underneath, and she even bought the same Alexander McQueen coat she debuted in 2020 in a different color for Tuesday’s launch of the “Shaping Us” campaign.

And while the princess rocking a coat older than Prince George is unusual, it’s not the first time she’s pulled an old piece out of her closet; in 2021, she re-wore the lilac Alexander McQueen gown she first sported in 2011 for the first Earthshot Prize Awards in London.

For today’s video, the mom of three paired the coat with two other winter faves, sporting her frequently worn cream Fair Isle knit turtleneck from Holland Cooper and Blundstone Classic 550 Chelsea Boots ($230) along with black skinny jeans and gloves.

The royal has sported her Blundstones for everything from visiting a forest school in Denmark to a Christmas attraction with her family last December, and they proved to be the perfect pair to take a winter walk for the YouTube clip.

The Princess of Wales kicked off the new campaign on Monday night while wearing a fiery red Alexander McQueen power suit, and held her first official event of “Shaping Us” on Tuesday wearing the aforementioned green Alexander McQueen coat along with a Victoria Beckham knit dress.
