Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s son’s name finally revealed nine months after baby’s birth | The Sun

THE name of Khloe Kardashian’s baby boy can finally be revealed nine months after he was born.

Reality TV star Khloe, 38, has remained tight-lipped about what she’s called the boy she had via surrogate with on-again, off-again beau Tristan Thompson in July last year.

But The U.S. Sun has been exclusively told that he has been named Tatum Robert.

Khloe admitted last month that – like her firstborn daughter True – she had decided to give her son a name beginning with T.

But the mom-of-two has played coy about announcing the kid’s full name to the public.

It comes following drama surrounding the name of the baby son of her sister Kylie Jenner, who Kylie at first said was called Wolf before changing the name to Aire.

A source tells The U.S. Sun that Khloe resisted nudges from her family, especially her mom Kris Jenner, to give the first name of Robert to the baby after Khloe’s late father Robert Kardashian and brother Rob.

Instead she decided to use Robert as the boy’s second name in honor of her lawyer dad, who passed away almost 20 years ago in September 2003, and her beloved younger brother, according to the source.

The insider said: “There was talk about whether it should be Tatum Robert or should it be Robert Tatum.

“Some in the family were leaning more towards Robert, because it honors her dad and her brother.

“Kris in particular was keen for the baby to be called Robert and was steering Khloe towards that.

“It took Khloe a little while to settle on the name but ultimately she went with Tatum Robert, which is in keeping with Tristan and True’s names starting with a T.

“Khloe wanted a name that was kind of unusual but not too out there and also keeping with the T theme.”

'LITTLE CHUNK'

Khloe shares both baby Tatum and daughter True, five, with LA Lakers basketball player Thompson.

The 32-year-old is also dad to sons Theo, 16 months, with Maralee Nichols, and Prince, six, with model ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig.

He had Theo after cheating on Khloe with Nichols but despite the subsequent paternity scandal and split Tristan and Khloe went on to have Tatum even though they are no longer together as a couple.

Khloe opened up a little about their son on The Jennifer Hudson Show last month.

Confirming that the name starts with a T, the Good American clothing brand founder said: "Yes, he's named. But, I haven't announced it yet.”

Explaining why it took her a while to choose the boy’s name, she said: "He was delivered via surrogate, or the stork I like to say, and at first, I did not know what I was going to name him.

"I wanted to meet him and feel him out a little bit, and so at first he didn't have a name.”

She also explained that she was waiting until the premiere of the upcoming season of The Kardashians for the boy’s name to be revealed.

Season three of the hit show is due to be released on Hulu on May 25.

Khloe said: "He's been named, but I've been waiting for the premiere of our show.

“So now I'm just like, if my daughter outs me, I'm screwed.”

Khloe also referred to the boy, who is now nine months old, as a “little chunk”, saying she “wouldn’t have it any other way.”

She added: “I love a chubby baby. He is a quiet baby.

"He's a happy baby, which is amazing. My daughter was the same, so I've been lucky twice.”

Khloe had already said during the premiere of season two of The Kardashians that her son’s name would start with a T.

"I mean, that's really the only names I've been looking at,” she said.

"We can name him Travis and then just have an easy three," her mom Kris Jenner then joked, in reference to Kylie Jenner’s baby daddy Travis Scott and Kourtney Kardashian’s husband Travis Barker.

Tatum is a given name of English origin which is used for both boys and girls.

The name can also be spelled Taytum, which is usually seen as a girl’s moniker.

It was originally derived from a place name meaning “Tata’s homestead” in Old English.

Child actress Tatum O’Neal is among the best-known figures who have been given the name.
