Kristen Doute supports Ariana Madix amid mutual ex Tom Sandoval’s scandal
Kristen Doute is back in front of the “Vanderpump Rules” cameras — but not everyone has kind words for her.
The former reality star, 40, who departed the Bravo show in 2020 under controversial circumstances, was season filming season 10 outside Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix’s house, amid news he cheated on his longtime girlfriend with co-star Raquel Leviss.
Doute kept things cozy for the outing, rocking a black and white plaid crop top, black leggings, a grey cardigan and black slides while filming Tuesday.
However, trolls quickly took to the comments sections of a “Vanderpump Rules” Instagram fan page to discuss her look — and Doute named and shamed them on her Instagram Story on Thursday.
“This CANNOT be the outfit she’s wearing when she’s making her grand return,” one of the comments read.
“Great just what nobody needed,” another troll wrote, while several others called her “fat” or “horrible.”
“good morning…,” she sarcastically captioned the post, which was set to the tune of “A Beautiful Morning” by The Rascals.
Doute’s shady post comes a few days after a source told Page Six that the “Behind Your Eyes” actress was in talks to return to the series.
“As someone who’s dated Tom and built a strong friendship with Ariana over the years, she has a singular perspective on the situation that producers are interested in,” one insider said.
The “majority of the cast” — who will soon reunite for a bombshell reunion — is said to be “in support” of the decision.

Doute also spoke out on her “Sex, Love, and What Else Matters” podcast Wednesday, telling listeners that Madix, 37, was “not doing well.”
“She’s sad. She doesn’t want to hear about anything anymore,” the former SUR waitress said.
The pair got together on March 1 when Sandoval’s dalliance with Leviss, 28, was first revealed.
“During Tom’s performance, his phone fell out of his pocket or something and somebody — a mutual friend — picks up the phone, hands it to Ariana,” Doute recalled.
She said Madix listened to her “gut intuition” to look at her longtime partner’s phone despite their “trusting” dynamic.
Doute, who dated Sandoval, 40, on and off from 2006 until 2013, said she went into his photos and found a “screen-recorded FaceTime of him and Leviss masturbating with each other.”
“Vanderpump Rules” airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
