Love Island viewers shocked to discover Davide Sanclimenti’s real job and net worth

Davide Sanclimenti became a fan favourite during his eight-week stint in the Love Island villa, with his and Ekin-Su Culculoglu's romance capturing viewers' hearts.

The 27 year old, who hails from Italy, took home the £50,000 prize fund with Ekin-Su, also 27, after they beat Luca Bish and Gemma Owen and were crowned the winners of Love Island 2022.

Rumours concerning Davide's net worth have started to circulate however, with some fans claiming he is a self-made millionaire thanks to his lucrative business ventures.

During his time in the Love Island, he remained quiet about his job which led many viewers to begin looking into his occupation and what he does while living in Manchester.

Davide is the director of S Deluxe Shisha, a shisha business which provides hookah products to restaurants and nightclubs.

The company appears to have launched back in May 2021, and claims to provide electronic devices from 'the best manufacturers in the world'.

The website's mission statement says: "S Deluxe Shisha is a premium service offered in some of the most exclusive hospitality venues located in North West, England.

"We have partnership with the most exclusive restaurants and nightclubs around the UK, carrying a wide selection of top quality hookah products in different shapes and sizes.

"We offer catering-service, with the highest quality of luxury electronic shisha and the purest French made e-liquids. High quality ingredients combined with the latest technology on the market."

According to his LinkedIn profile, Davide has extensive knowledge about business, with the 27 year old having gained a bachelor's degree in economics and business administration from Università degli Studi dell'Aquila in Abruzzo.

He also has a masters degree in finance and banking according to his profile on the app.

Many Love Island fans have started rumours that Davide is a self-made millionaire, and have claimed he doesn't need his half of the £50,000 prize money.

One fan said: "Davide owns a multimillion shisha company idk if any of these people needed 50k," as another said: "Out of all things I expected Davide to do for a living ….. I did not expect him to own a shisha lounge on the curry mile".

Davide said he "couldn't believe it" as he and Ekin-Su were crowned the winners of Love Island 2022 on Monday 1 August.

Luca, 23, and Gemma, 19, were runners-up, while Indiyah Polack, 23, and Dami Hope, 26, came in third place with Tasha Ghouri, 23, and Andrew Le Page, 27, coming in fourth place.

Ekin-Su and Davide weren't asked whether they wanted to steal or split the £50,000 this year after Laura Whitmore revealed that ITV bosses had scrapped the iconic twist for the first time ever on the show.
