Pixie Lott stuck to her natural curls for her wedding hair look – and it was bridal perfection

Pixie Lott has only recently gone back to blonde after months of favouring an auburn/brunette shade. This had us wondering whether or not she’d choose to go blonde or brunette for her bridal hair look – but we now know she went right back to her roots (literally) for her wedding glam.

The singer finally wed model Oliver Cheshire in a romantic Cambridgeshire ceremony yesterday (6 June) after COVID delays pushed back the couple’s nuptials two times. Pixie looked incredible in her white gown that featured a glittering sheer neckline, but it was her hair and makeup that truly stole the show for us.

While many brides prefer sleek tresses or Hollywood-style waves for their bridal hair looks, Pixie opted to let her natural curly hair texture take centre stage. She showed off her curls by loosely pulling her long hair back into an undone bun, making sure to leave her fringe sections free to fall around her face. Her golden blonde hair looks like it had just been given a salon refresh, with brighter sections of platinum breaking up her ashy blonde roots.

Pixie’s wedding makeup was also textbook bridal perfection. She added colour and structure to her brows, but kept her eye makeup to a minimum. She added a wash of pink gloss to her lips, and chose to go heavier on the blusher rather than on the bronzer. All-in-all, a perfect combination for a summer wedding.

If you’ve got a wedding coming up, we recommend taking inspo from Pixie and letting your natural hair texture shine on your big day. However, if you’re after something a bit more glam, statement ponytails featuring pearl hair accessories are also predicted to be a top-worn style in the coming months. We’re also set to see a rise in elegant lobs (long bobs), rather than the typical flowing tresses that brides have previously asked for.

No matter what style you choose for your wedding, we think Pixie proves perfectly that you don’t have to look like a completely different person on your big day.
