French Princess Hermine of Clermont-Tonnerre, 54, is placed in a medically induced coma after a serious motorcycle crash as friends pay tribute to ‘darling warrior’ online

 Princess Hermine of Clermont-Tonnerre has been placed in a medically-induced coma after a serious motorcycle crash, it has emerged.

The mother-of-two, 54, who is currently living in Paris, was injured in the serious road accident on Monday.

Her friends have shared news of the accident on Facebook, with one begging the socialite, actress and author to ‘fight’ to stay alive.

Sharing a snap of the royal, event manager Vivianne Zaniroli commented: ‘In thoughts and prayers for our Mimine, Hermine from Clermont-Tonnerre, in a coma following a motorcycle accident, we think strongly of Allegra and Calixte her children. My darling princess, you are a warrior, fight.’

Princess Hermine of Clermont-Tonnerre, 54, has been placed in a medically-induced coma after a ‘serious’ motorcycle accident, according to French news outlet LA VDN 

French news outlet  La VDN reported news of the crash earlier this week. 

Meanwhile, according to Hello magazine, singer Jean-Luc Lahaye, who is a relative of Princess Hermine, also addressed the incident in a televised interview.

He said: ‘I learned the news. It seems it was a very serious motorcycle accident. A vital prognosis is underway. 

‘I hope she will get by. She is a girl that I adore, a faithful friend, very joyful, an extraordinary character. 

Friends of the royal have posted tributes to the mother-of-two on Facebook as they called her a ‘warrior princess’ 

Friends shared photographs of the royal online as they urged others to ‘pray’ for the princess’ recovery after the accident 

‘She is a mum and for this reason also I hope that she will get out of it and that she will regain all her mobility.’

He added: ‘[I] don’t know what she has yet, but it’s very serious since her vital prognosis is underway.’

The mother-of-two’s friends have been sharing messages of support on social media, with producer Thierry Klemeniuk posting on Facebook: ‘Let us all pray for our princess.’ 

Hermine is the only daughter of Charles Henri, 11th Duke of Clermont-Tonnerre and Anne Moranvillé. 

Hermine was described by another friend as an ‘extraordinary character’, ‘faithful friend, and ‘very joyful’ 

The mother-of-two, who worked as a stylist for Dior and is now an author and TV actress, is bin a medically-induced  coma after the accident 

In her twenties, she worked as a stylist for the fashion house Dior, before she went on to set up her own events communication company.

In 1996, she published her first novel, and she has since gone on to write six more  books.   

In 1999, she married French businessman Alastair Cuddeford, whom she had two children with Allegra, and Calixte, with the two divorcing in 2009. 

The princess is the daughter of Charles Henri, who is the 11th Duke of Clermont-Tonnerre, and Anne Moranville.
