Shanna Moakler Fetches Nearly $100K For Travis Barker Engagement Ring
Shanna Moakler’s engagement ring from Travis Barker has officially found a new owner, though the model didn’t get nearly as much as she was hoping for the diamond ring.
According to Us Weekly, the ring sold for $96,500 through Worthy.com on May 31st. The bidding start at $51,000, though Shanna said she was hoping for at least $120,000, since the ring was worth $160,000.

“Nobody expects a happy marriage to end … and nobody ever hopes to let go of sentimental and valuable things,” Shanna told the outlet.
“I wanted to thank worthy.com for making the most out of a beautiful time in my life. I hope the highest bidder truly loves the piece as much as I did,” she continued. “It was a smooth and easy process … Looking forward to the future!”
Shanna’s decision to sell the ring came only days after Travis tied the knot to Kourtney Kardashian in a lavish Portofino, Italy celebration. However, the reality star insisted the choice to auction the piece wasn’t motivated by her ex’s marriage.
“I think it is a beautiful piece and truly was my dream ring,” Shanna explained. “However, that chapter of my life is over. And even though wearing it at one time brought me great joy, I hope it will find a new home and continue to bring someone as much happiness as it once did to me.”

Travis and Shanna were married from 2004 to 2008. The exes share two children together – Landon, 18, and Alabama, 16.
The Blink 182 drummer went public with his relationship with Kourtney last year, and the couple were engaged by October. The couple legally married in a courthouse ceremony this month after an unofficial ceremony in Las Vegas earlier in the year. They then set off to Italy with family and friends to celebrate their nuptials in typical Kardashian fashion.
Shanna has reportedly had a difficult time adjusting to her ex-husband’s new relationship, thigh the Big Brother alum has denied being “obsessed” with their pair’s PDA-packed romance.

However, Shanna had kind words for the newlyweds after their most recent nuptials. “I wish the happy couple a lovely marriage. I will continue to only want the best for my children,” she stated. “It was a beautiful gesture to include my children in such a gorgeous affair.”
With the engagement ring sold and good words exchanged, it appears everyone is moving on.
