Shopper leaves savage note on shelves after reviewing supermarket curry

Nothing is worse than spending money on food for it not be up to your standards – edible but not enjoyable.

However, this one supermarket customer decided to help out their fellow shoppers by writing a scathing review.

No, not on the likes of TripAdvisor but a handwritten note scrawled across some carboard and put on the shop shelf.

The anonymous unsatisfied customer was not happy with their chicken ready meal from Woolworths Marrickville Metro, Sydney, Australia.

Brutally, the customer put pen to paper and wrote a strongly worded review of the Coco Earth's Butter Chicken with a piece of Naan bread ready meal.

And, they certainly did not hold back.

Posted to Reddit by an eagle-eyed shopper, the note savaged: "Sauce. Ok. Chicken like eating old rope.

"Naan – inedible unless you like eating rubber.

"Same with Tikka."

Ouch…

Even though the note was pretty brutal, many people actually found the advice useful.

One person commented: "Not too sure about the delivery but the review is accurate."

Another user added: "This is amazing. Would love to see more of this."

Whilst a third person voiced: "We need more of this."

Someone else declared: "A true hero."

Meanwhile, a fifth person said: "Normalise reviews in Woolworths. I haven't heard of that brand before, but now I know to keep avoiding it."

A Woolworths spokesperson told 7News.com.au: "We appreciate all customer feedback on our products and will be passing this on to the supplier.

"If customers ever have any feedback for our team, we encourage them to reach out to our Contact Centre or fill out the feedback form on our website."
