TalkTalk internet down leaving hundreds of customers unable to work from home

TALKTALK internet is down for hundreds of customers, leaving them unable to work from home during the coronavirus lockdown.

Outage tracker DownDetector reported complaints from 400 customers shortly after 8am this morning, March 24.

DownDetector appears to be showing issues in London, Manchester and Plymouth.

Frustrated customers have since taken to Twitter to complain to the internet and phone provider.

One fed up Twitter user said: "Morning TalkTalk! How are things with the WiFi connections? Bristol seems to have gone down at 830 this morning – struggling to get back online for work."

Another added: "My internet keeps dropping off since yesterday morning. I reported this via text yesterday afternoon but haven’t received a reply yet.

"Please can you look into urgently as I need to work from home. Many thanks."

We've asked TalkTalk for more information and we'll update this article when we know more.
