Taylor Swift Just Wore These Royal-Approved Boots in London (and You Can Buy Them at Nordstrom)

One month after the release of her new album, Evermore, Taylor Swift is back in the public eye.

The musician was spotted in London with boyfriend Joe Alwyn on Monday, January 11, the Daily Mail reports. Naturally, she pulled together the most British outfit possible for the occasion, pairing a Stella McCartney peacoat with classic black rain boots from royal-approved brand Hunter.

Queen Elizabeth, Kate Middleton, and Meghan Markle are all known fans of the U.K. heritage label, having worn Hunter wellies on multiple occasions. Other iconic Brits, including Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne, have put their own spin on the boots, wearing them in a variety of colors and styles. For her part, Swift opted for the Original Tour Short Packable Rain Boot in matte black. The pair reaches to mid-calf and features Hunter's signature buckle accents.

This is far from the first time we've seen Swift in Hunter footwear. She's been wearing iterations of the boots since the early days of her career, and it's not hard to guess why — according to Nordstrom reviewers, they're the perfect mix of lightweight, comfy, and durable.

"I've been avoiding buying rain boots for years, mostly because I hate how stiff and immovable they usually are. But not these boots," said a shopper of the Original Tour boots. "These are actually comfortable! I can't believe it! The top is just flexible enough to move with me when I walk (but it still holds itself up), and my feet feel cushy and supported. They're easy to slide on and off, too."

Others are blown away by the portability of Swift's exact pair. "I absolutely love my Hunter boots! I am very happy I picked the Tour version because they are packable and very flexible," one wrote.

You can buy the Taylor Swift-approved Hunter Original Tour Short Packable boots for $145 at Nordstrom. Consider them an investment for the fast-approaching rainy days of spring.
