The rarest baby names in England and Wales, including Quynn and Tidus

Picking a name for your baby is never easy, with some opting for names which are continually popular, and others picking out vintage monikers such as Effie and Edison.

You might even be swayed by your favourite celebrity and call your newborn a name like Apple, following Gwyneth Paltrow’s lead, or take inspiration from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and opt for Maddox.

If, however, you want to step away from the baby name limelight then you could choose a lesser known moniker.
