The pool of competitors is shrinking.

The remaining 13 contestants on “The Voice” hit the stage Monday, all vying for a coveted spot in the Top 8 following the “biggest elimination of the season” last week.

Each artist’s song was picked by viewers as part of Fan Night. America assigned Team John Legend’s Celia Babini the daunting task of covering Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s Grammy Award-winning song “Shallow.” (No pressure.)

Babini didn’t disappoint

Despite struggling during the song’s opening verse, Babini hit her stride at the chorus, showcasing her range, powerful vocals and undeniable talent.

The 18-year-old New York native also sold her performance with a level of drama that rivaled what Gaga originally brought to the ballad. Babini interacted with fans and even crowd-surfed while singing the final lyrics.

Legend saved Babini from elimination last week, but there are no more coaches’ rescues moving forward.

Fans will have the final say on who advances to the Top 8. The voting will be revealed during Tuesday’s results show.
