TYSON FURY’S US promoter has insisted Eddie Hearn “doesn’t know s*** about boxing” after the Gypsy King’s win over Otto Wallin.
The unbeaten 31-year-old was forced to dig deep in a hard-fought points victory over the Swedish heavyweight in Las Vegas.
Hearn branded Fury’s fight against Wallin as a “shambles” and “bad for boxing”, but Bob Arum has hit back at the Matchroom chief.
Following the victory in Vegas, the American promoter said: “Eddie Hearn said this was a disgrace, that Wallin didn’t belong. He’d never seen Wallin fight.
“It’s just bullshit. We had seen him fight and we knew the kind of fighter that he was and the kind of of performance he would do.
“You can’t listen to guys like Eddie Hearn, who don’t know s*** about boxing and just open and flap their mouths and come over here to the United States and don’t have a clue of our culture or how to promote or anything like that.
“What I’m really enraged about is that he said during a New York that Bob Arum is an old guy and that he talks about how Mexicans are treated – and young people don’t care about.
“Who the f*** is he talking about?”
