  • GOOD MORNING UNITED FANS,

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly identified Real Madrid star Fede Valverde as a replacement for Paul Pogba.
SunSport revealed that United are ready to offload the French midfielder this summer for just £100million.
According to Spanish source Diario Madridista, Uruguay international Valverde is at the top of their wishlist.
It is reported that Solskjaer plans to rebuild his squad around the 21-year-old.
But his huge £422million release clause could prove problematic for the Premier League side.

Pogba meanwhile would reportedly be furious if Man Utd automatically extend his contract by a year as the Frenchman eyes a move to Real Madrid.
The former Juventus midfielder has been linked with exiting Old Trafford for some time, but Spanish media outlet AS have revealed it would be a 'now or never' situation in the summer.
Pogba's current price tag is said to be £100m – but with his current deal ending in 2021, without the extension, United would have to sell up or risk losing him for nothing.

The Old Trafford club were said to have already upped their contract offer to another academy star – Angel Gomes
The 19-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and has attracted interest from Premier League rivals Chelsea.
Metro claim the Red Devils have already offered Gomes a salary of around £25,000-a-week on a two-year deal.
But following interest from the Blues, United have offered a third year with instalments that could see the teenager net around £30k-a-week.

  • ASTON-ISHING

Roy Keane's gold Aston Martin DB7 Vantage has been put up for sale for just under £24,000.

The Irish hardman bought the flash motor to celebrate Manchester United’s Treble-winning campaign in 1999.

There was no expense spared when Keane treated himself to the 3.2-litre vehicle over 20 years ago.

As a constant reminder of his glory days, the midfielder ordered his car with a one-off gold paint job.

It comes complete with black leather interior, an automatic gearbox and only has 60,000 miles on the clock.

The car was registered in 1998 – just one year before United won the Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup.

  • MAN OF THE PEOPLE

Manchester United are pressing ahead with the development of Old Trafford that will vastly increase the options and capacity for disabled fans to attend matches.

The club have been working closely with the Manchester United Disabled Supporters’ Association [MUDSA] in order to improve their facilities and make their historic home as accessible as possible for all match-goers.

The Red Devils have confirmed that 118 new wheelchair positions are being created, as well as 158 new amenity seats across four locations of the stadium.

  • FRENCH CONNECTION

Paul could be lured to Real Madrid from Manchester United because of his relationship with Zinedine Zidane, claims Dimitar Berbatov.

The former Red Devils striker – now a Betfair Ambassador – said “If he was to move, wherever he goes he will be fine.

“He knows that if it isn't working out that there is always a team waiting for him some place else and if he goes he'll play and do well.

“One thing I will say about the Real Madrid rumours is, don't forget Zinedine Zidane is manager there.

“When you have a manager or other players from the same country you always speak and know that you will get on, especially speaking the same language.

“It makes you feel comfortable and that is not to be underestimated in this situation.”
