Antonio Brown revels in the Patriots’ disastrous end

If the Patriots and their fans are bummed about the surprising early end to their season, Antonio Brown just rubbed it in a little bit more.

Brown took a swipe at the Patriots on Instagram on Saturday night with a picture of the former receiver hugging Bill Belichick, posting: “What Could Of Been #YouChangedOnMe, #LookAtMeNow, #ABForPresident.”

He also tweeted out a “call me” message to Tom Brady, adding that in 2020, he “only want to play With @TomBrady or no play.”

New England’s legendary quarterback said after the Patriots’ season-ending 20-13 loss that it’s “pretty unlikely” he would retire, and issued a cryptic “who knows what the future holds?” when asked if he thinks he will return to New England.

As for Brown, this isn’t the first time he has gone public saying the Patriots could use him. The exiled receiver — whom the Patriots cut in September after just one game amid sexual assault allegations — made it known on Twitter during a Patriots loss to the Texans in December that New England’s sputtering offense could use him.

“Rt to put AB in this game,” Brown tweeted while the Patriots were trailing in the fourth quarter of that loss.

In November, Brown apologized to Patriots owner Robert Kraft on Twitter and Instagram, and Patriots stars Tom Brady and Julian Edelman liked Brown’s Instagram post. The apology was for a shot Brown took at Kraft in September over Kraft being charged with soliciting a prostitute at a Florida massage parlor.

Brown almost had another shot to return to the NFL when he worked out with the Saints in late December, but said it was a “publicity stunt” when he found out the team wasn’t going to sign him.
