Bayern Munich ‘delay photo shoot until Leroy Sane signing’ with Germans confident in transfer of Man City star – The Sun

BAYERN MUNICH have pushed back their annual club photo shoot until they secure the signing of Leroy Sane, German reports claim.

The Manchester City winger has been subject to much speculation linking him with a move to the Allianz Arena this summer.

According to BILD the Bundesliga champions are so confident in signing the German international they have pushed back a photo shoot in order to have Sane in the pictures.

Bayern boss Niko Kovac recently promised to go all out for the 23-year-old this summer.

Kovac said: "We all know that Sane is our dream player. The public knows that, we know that.

"We will do everything to realise this transfer."

Bayern waved goodbye to club legends Arjen Robben and Frank Ribery at the end of last season and have targeted Sane and Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi as replacements.

The German star made 47 appearances in City's title winning campaign last term, but started only 29 games with Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva preferred out wide.

However, Etihad boss Pep Guardiola insists he wants Sane to remain at the club – but admitted it is down the the player to decide his future.

Guardiola said: "We want him to stay. So it's not in our hands – he has to decide.

"If he wants and there is an agreement then it's good but if he wants to leave he can do it but we will be sad. Hopefully he stays.

"Leroy is a guy who I appreciate a lot – I like him a lot. I think he has an incredible gap to be better in terms of being connected in the game."
