Damon Hetas weird walk-on delights fans who say get him in the Premier League

Darts star Damon Heta's bizarre walk-on had fans in hysterics and left them demanding for his addition to the Premier League.

The eccentric World No.18 entered the arena at the Austrian Darts Open wearing ski goggles with skies to match against Luke Woodhouse. The Australian was full of energy as he pretended to be on a ski slope with the accessories as he interacted with, and signed the autographs of gleeful fans in the crowd.

His animated entrance was a hit with supporters who leapt off their seats to give the darts star a standing ovation while his opponent looked on with a smile on his face. The whole arena erupted with noise as Heta pranced around the stage in his ski gear.

Heta's antics were also discussed on social media where users gave their opinion on his unique outfit choice. One fan said: "He’s a master in his own right.!" A second supporter added: "Hahahahah what a man."

Then a third person scoffed: "Nothing like good Aussie humour. Followed by a fourth fan who crowned Heta a "legend." While a fifth enthralled user gushed: "the man is so cool."

And his zany introduction propelled him to victory as he defeated Woodhouse with a 6-4 win with five consecutive legs to book his place in the last-16. But it was there where he became unstuck against Jonny Clayton, who won their clash 6-4 to steam into the quarter-finals.

Clayton's victory saw him get revenge on Heta for his win when they met last year. Heta and Simon Whitlock got the better of Welsh duo Clayton and Gerwyn Price to give Australia their first-ever PDC World Cup of Darts. And in true Heta fashion, he celebrated the monumental moment by flashing and jiggling his bare belly.

Heta's latest outburst comes after he hilariously clashed with referee Russ Bray earlier this month. He told the official to "take yourself outside and give yourself a spanking" while they bantered about the Ashes tournament.
