The world’s No. 1 ranked golfer won the 2020 Masters on Sunday at Augusta, capturing his second career major after the tournament was postponed from the spring because of the coronavirus pandemic. Johnson’s 20-under set a new 72-hole Masters record, breaking the 18-under mark shared by Tiger Woods (1997) and Jordan Spieth (2015.) Johnson finished the final round with a 4-under 68.

The 36-year-old’s 2020 Masters victory comes two months after he won the FedEx Cup.

After winning his first career major at the 2016 US Open, Johnson had some near-misses, including finishing tied for second at last year’s Masters, one stroke behind Tiger Woods. He finished tied for second in this year’s PGA championship and tied for sixth at the US Open. Last year he finished second at the PGA championship, and he finished third in the 2018 US Open.

Johnson tested positive for COVID-19 last month, which limited his prep time for the Masters.
