    OVER 3: 13-0 (Finch 9, Warner 2)

David Warner is yet to get off the mark and that's just dandy for England. You really don't want to see him cutting loose.

CLOSE! The third ball of Woakes's over pitches on leg and leaves Warner fishing!

But they squeeze a couple of the last ball of the over with Warner's unconvincing slash over the man at backward point.

CRICKET experts at StarSpreads.com have predicted a low scoring World Cup clash at Lords today as two of the sports fiercest rivals meet in what is a must win tie for both sides.

Batting first, the number crunchers have predicted Australia to make exactly 289 runs and in overcast conditions are expected to score just 74 after the first 15 overs.

The fall of the Aussies first wicket is forecast on their 47th run, while David Warner is set to be the highest-scoring opener for the Baggy Greens on 48 – Aaron Finch tipped to get 43.

A StarSpreads.com spokesman said: “This looks like a perfect toss for England to win on a green pitch against the old enemy. With Jofra Archer fit to play, we forecast the Aussies to get an under par score at the home of cricket – it remains to be seen if England live up to expectation in the chase.”

    OVER 2: 11-0 (Finch 9, Warner 0)

Jofra Archer to take the ball for England now…

Poor start. A loose one down the offside from Archer and Finch drives it away through the covers for FOUR.

Why do I think of Chris Finch every from The Office every time I mention Finch's name.

It's probably the surname, isn't it?

    OVER 1: 7-0 (Finch 5, Warner 0)

Here comes the first ball from Woakes to Finch…

And he gets one to nip back, tucking Finch up a little.

And the second ball does Finch for speed as he slashes hard and escapes over the top of Ben Stokes at second slip. That'll be FOUR.

They may have taken seven off the over but that was excellent from Woakes as he gets a little movement away from the batsmen and causes them real trouble.

    Promising.
