England vs Ireland Test: TV channel, live stream, start time and team news for one-off match at Lord's

HISTORY will be made at Lord's as Ireland face England in a Test match for the first time.

It's been a lengthy journey to reach this point for the Irish, who only got their Test status in 2017 and have so far suffered two defeats to Pakistan and Afghanistan.

And they will be up against it here, with Joe Root's side are preparing for The Ashes which begins at Edgbaston on August 1.

After the euphoria of the one-day side's stunning World Cup triumph, the Yorkshireman will be hoping his Test players can take momentum into the longer form of the game.
