Former Chelsea star Fikayo Tomori 'set to sign new five-year contract at AC Milan' to fend of Premier League interest | The Sun
FIKAYO TOMORI has agreed a new five-year contract with AC Milan, according to reports.
The former Chelsea star joined the Serie A club permanently 12 months ago after a successful loan spell.
Tomori, 24, is now set for a pay rise as Milan attempt to fend off interest from the Premier League.
According to The Times, the centre-back agreed his new deal late on Thursday night.
Milan boss Stefano Pioli was desperate to get a deal sorted to keep Tomori around long term.
Pioli feared that his side would be bombarded with Prem interest in their star defender.

Milan legend and technical director Paolo Maldini played a key role in getting a new contract sorted for Tomori.
The Italian giants won the Serie A title last season, with Tomori starting 30 of their 38 games en route to victory.
Another key member of that team Franck Kessie headed to Barcelona on a free transfer.
Milan chiefs are determined to avoid losing Tomori in a similar manner.

He made 27 appearances for boyhood club Chelsea before being loaned to Milan in January 2021.
After an impressive stint the Italians exercised their £25million option to buy in the deal and made the switch permanent.
Milan are chasing further reinforcements this summer.
They have also bolstered their attack by spending £28.8m on Belgian wonderkid Charles De Ketelaere from Club Brugge and signing Divock Origi on a free transfer from Liverpool.
Pioli and Co are also hoping to sign Chelsea flop Hakim Ziyech, although a deal is proving trickier to come by.
The Blues are willing to sell the attacker, although Ziyech reportedly isn't interested in taking a wage cut, with Milan struggling to match his Chelsea salary.
Milan kick off their Serie A title defence by hosting Udinese tomorrow afternoon.
