How Sky Sports are going to line up for Man Utd vs Liverpool with Mourinho and Keane among the pundits – The Sun

THE big game of the weekend sees Manchester United take on Liverpool at Old Trafford.

While Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's beleaguered Red Devils may not be good enough for the match to be billed as a clash of the heavyweights on the pitch – Sky Sports have ensured that it will be off it.

The broadcasters have confirmed that Jose Mourinho, Graeme Souness and Roy Keane will be joining regulars Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher in the studio.

The match is often billed as the biggest rivalry in the country – and here is how the pundits will line up for the titanic clash.

ROY KEANE

Like a snake, sitting patiently – waiting for an opportunity to pounce on his prey.

His dinner of choice? His former club Manchester United of course.

Keane won't be the busiest player in the punditry booth, but when the Irishman is involved it'll be going in for the kill

When those evil eyes glaze over – no-one is safe.

JOSE MOURINHO

Now what agenda could Mourinho possibly possess going into any Manchester United game?

The now grizzled Special One can switch between the charm offensive and the completely charmless in the blink of an eye – and when he's on the rampage no one is safe.

But he won't rip United apart in the traditional Keane or even Gary Neville way. There will be no raised voice, no anger in his eyes.

No, he'll do it with complete serenity. The corner of his lips just curled into the faintest hint of a smirk.

He's recently been linked with the Tottenham job and you can guarantee he'll be back in a dugout and complaining about it sometime soon – but for now, he will relish the nation hanging on his every word.

GRAEME SOUNESS

Ah, a Liverpool voice.

Souness can gush over how good his former side will inevitably be all day long – but why do that when he can rip into Manchester United.

Granted, his personal bug-bear Paul Pogba will miss out with injury, but we're sure he'll find a way to throw in a dig somewhere.

United's midfield is likely to feature at least one of Fred, the Brazilian £52million man that sails through games without ever leaving a mark.

Or Nemanja Matic, the former midfield destroyer, who now rather resembles a donkey pulling along a carriage as he trundles around the middle of the park.

A former midfield great himself – there will certainly be something for Souness to sink his gnarling teeth into.

JAMIE CARRAGHER

Oh Jamie Carragher. He sent Spurs fans into meltdown when he celebrated Mohamed Salah's late winner against them in April as if he were stood on the Kop.

There is only one prism through which Carragher will see this match through – a Liverpool one.

The 41-year-old loves the Reds like United fans love parading the fact they've won 20 titles over their Merseyside rivals – a lot.

And if it's to be a comfortable Liverpool win as expected, the pandemonium in Carragher's voice could send millions of United fans into hysteria – starting with the one next to him, which leads us nicely into…

GARY NEVILLE

Oh Gary. Gary, Gary, Gary.

There is nothing Gary Neville wants more than his beloved Manchester United to do well – other than possibly to just beat bitter rivals Liverpool.

As a Mancunian born-and-bred, Neville has never made a secret of his utter contempt for Liverpool Football Club.

But the 44-year-old has had to spend the last few years admitting through gritted teeth just how much more right the Reds are getting it than his bumbling Red Devils.

If Sunday gets ugly, and with Carragher busy gloating in his ear – it could be a truly chastening day for a United fan that is having to endure quite a few of them this season.

Usually the voice of Manchester United criticism – expect to see him squirm if he is on the receiving end of a trademark Keane glare.

DAVE JONES

Well, best of luck.
