MANCHESTER UNITED have been dealt a transfer blow with Ansu Fati reportedly ready to sign a new Barcelona deal.

Mundo Deportivo claims the winger, 17, is on the verge of extending his contract for many years despite interest from the Red Devils.

And Fati’s Nou Camp future will be secured by a release clause worth a staggering £362million.

That spells bad news for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who reportedly failed with a £135m offer for the teenager earlier this week.

Fati’s current release clause is believed to be £151m.

But Barca are now set to more-than double it, keeping United at bay for some time to come.

Fati has enjoyed a great season despite his tender age, scoring five times in 24 games.

But Barcelona have long maintained his future is in Catalonia despite links to the Theatre of Dreams.
