Mike Tyson reveals his role in ex-UFC champ Francis Ngannou's camp for Tyson Fury fight as he insists: I'm not a trainer | The Sun
MIKE TYSON revealed his role in Francis Ngannou's camp for the Tyson Fury fight as he insisted: I'm not a trainer.
The ex-UFC champion crosses over to the ring next Saturday in Saudi Arabia to take on undefeated Fury.
And Ngannou, 37, called on the help of heavyweight icon Tyson for what will mark his boxing debut.
But Tyson has been quick to reaffirm that he is coaching the Cameroonian powerhouse but is not his lead trainer.
He told GQ: “I’m not a trainer. I’m a coach. A trainer can be bought by anybody. ‘Train this guy. Hey, train this guy,’.
"I’m a coach. I’m loyal to my guy. When he gets beat up, I feel the punches.

“The man that I am named after, a legend, has to go against me and then come out as a loser, having lost to a man who was named after him.
