MMA star Abdul-Malik Saidulaev suffers horrific injury with arm bent the WRONG WAY leaving opponent with head in hands

MMA fighter Abdul-Malik Saidulaev suffered a horrific injury when his arm bent the WRONG WAY.

The featherweight was thrown by Rustambek Nurzhanov at an ACA: Young Eagles show in Chechnya, Russia.

But it ended gruesomely as Saidulaev's arm was bent round the wrong way in a horror break which saw the fight end with Nurzhanov left head in hands.

It comes two months after UFC legend Jacare Souza SNAPPED his right arm in his UFC 262 defeat to Andre Muniz.

Brazilian Muniz snapped his countryman's limb with a nasty armbar following a beautiful transition from the back.

Post-fight x-rays revealed Jacare's right humerus had been snapped in two.

The 41-year-old – who is now on a four-fight losing streak – is currently in hospital awaiting surgery.

Jacare updated his fans on Sunday night, saying: "Hey, what's up everybody? I'm in the hospital right now.

"So, I broke my arm and I have surgery tomorrow.

"Thanks UFC for all the support and thanks everyone for rooting for me. So I think everything is going to be fine. Thank you."

In his post-fight interview, Muniz said of the broken arm: “I heard it snap.

“I let go not only out of respect but I’m from jiu-jitsu, I knew it could hurt him even more if I didn’t let go.

“I’m a fan of Jacare since I was a kid. He’s my idol. I hope he’s good.

"I deserve a top 15 now, I’m here to stay.”
