Premier League 2020/21 fixtures announced tomorrow as Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea await fate

PREMIER LEAGUE sides will learn their fixtures for the 2020-21 season tomorrow, with the full list announced at 9am.

The top flight gets back underway on September 12, with all games to be crammed in by May 23 as the league gets concluded in time for Euro 2020.

Top sides may hope for softer starts, given their stars' lack of a prolonged break between seasons.

Such a problem shouldn't arise for Manchester United or Manchester City, however, with the Premier League having granted them exemptions from the opening day after their European exertions.

It is understood that Wolves, despite their campaign finishing just four days before City's, have been denied the same privilege and will kick off again on September 12 with everyone else.

Clubs not in Europe will play enter the Carabao Cup in round two on 15-16 September, with those victorious, as well as those in Uefa competitions, entering in round three just a week later.

And those that make it to round four will play once again the midweek after that, as the opening FOUR rounds of the competition are all crammed into September.

Spurs are set to be particularly affected, given that they will also have to find time to fit in Europa League qualifying.

The Champions League group stage will get back underway on October 20.

Opening day fixtures were supposedly leaked last week, when fans noticed that upon the Fantasy Premier League's return, that it listed all players' "next opponents".

Should that prove accurate, then the pick of the bunch will see Man United eventually host Arsenal, while Leeds make their return against Newcastle and Liverpool begin their title defence against West Ham.
