Ryan Fraser will NEVER play for Bournemouth again after snubbing contract offer and will leave on free, confirms Howe – The Sun

EDDIE HOWE has revealed Ryan Fraser has played his last game for Bournemouth after the winger snubbed a short-term contract.

Fraser, 26, was eligible for Saturday's hosting of Crystal Palace and the trip to Wolves next week before his deal expires at the end of the month.

But boss Howe has decided not to involve the Scot, who has been linked to Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton, after he rejected the chance to complete the campaign.

The Cherries chief said: “Ryan has now played his last game for the club and will not be involved with us for the final nine games.

“I only want players who are fully focused on the relegation battle we have ahead. It was my decision.

"These are the most important games this club has had in recent times and we need everybody in the same position mentally fighting tooth and nail and giving everything for the club.

“And Ryan due to his contractual situation unfortunately can not commit to that. So two games was not going to make the difference for us.

“We needed a nine-game commitment. And unfortunately he could not give that at this moment.”
