Trevor May knows how to endear himself to his new fanbase.

After the reliever signed a two-year deal to join the Mets on Wednesday, May took to Twitter to thank Twins fans and then introduce himself to his new fans in New York — with a good sense of humor in tow.

“And now … LFGM,” May tweeted with a picture of himself in a Mets uniform and the rallying cry that Pete Alonso recently tweaked.

“Also, sorry It wasn’t the other Trevor like you thought it was,” May followed up in another tweet.

May was referring, of course, to Trevor Bauer, the prize starting pitcher of the free agent market that could bolster the Mets’ rotation if new owner Steve Cohen is able to land him.

For now, the bullpen got better with the addition of May. In his last three seasons with the Twins, the 31-year-old posted a 3.19 ERA with 153 strikeouts and 38 walks in 113 innings.
