Tyson Fury predicts ‘I would batter Anthony Joshua inside the first round’ and brands Eddie Hearn as a ‘bellend’

TYSON FURY says he would "batter" Brit heavyweight rival Anthony Joshua "inside the first round".

And the Gypsy King wasn't too kind about AJ's promoter Eddie Hearn either, describing him as a "bellend".

The WBC champ decided to answer some fans' questions on Instagram, and of course that eagerly anticipated fight was a hot topic.

Fury revealed during lockdown that the pair had agreed on two fights for 2021.

And just recently Joshua stoked the fires for the mouthwatering scrap when he said he would beat Fury within six rounds, and that he wants to "break his head".

So when one question put to Fury was "how many rounds would it take you to batter Joshua", the response was clear.

He replied: "I would batter Joshua inside the first round."

Matchroom boss Hearn was then the topic of conversation, with one fan asking Fury why he "disliked him".

The 32-year-old answered back, chuckling: "I don't, I just think he's a bellend."

Joshua, 30, and Fury have a clear path to face each other should they both win their next fights.

AJ defends his unified titles against Kubrat Pulev, 39, set for December.

Fury faces Deontay Wilder, 34, in an immediate rematch having dethroned the American in February.

The Morecambe heavyweight was asked a wide-range of questions ranging from who would win in a fight between a silver back gorilla and grizzly bear, to more serious matters about boxing and mental health.

TYSON TALKS UP TOMMY

One fan asked him how far he thought his brother and Love Island star Tommy Fury would go in the sport.

Fury answered: "I think he'll go all the way. He's dedicated, he wants it. He trains hard and eats well.

"And he's my brother, he has too."

He went to say that the best moment of his career was his "comeback getting down from 28st to 18st and returning back to competitive sports."

The undefeated boxer was also said that the fight he is most looking forward to is Joe Joyce versus Daniel Dubois.

The two Brits are talked of as future world champions and are set to clash on October 24 at the O2 Arena.
