Who is Harry Redknapp's wife Sandra, when did they get married, and how many children do they have?

HARRY REDKNAPP became the story-telling maestro on his way to winning I'm A Celeb last year.

The ex-Tottenham boss frequently made reference to the love of his life, Sandra, but how long have they been together and how many children do they have? We have all the details…

Who is Harry Redknapp's wife Sandra?

Born Sandra Harris, she first met her future husband at the age of 17 at a local pub, when Harry was also just 17.

She is a twin sister with Patricia – who sadly died from pneumonia in April 2008.

Pat, as she was often known as, married Harry Redknapp's ex-West Ham team-mate and assistant Frank Lampard Sr, having three children, including Chelsea legend Frank Jr.

Is Sandra ill?

On May 30, 2019, Harry revealed Sandra is "not very well" and seeking specialist treatment.

He said she has fallen ill again after her battle with sepsis in 2018.

Speaking at an AOL Build, Harry revealed: "She hasn’t been particularly well.

"We have been to a specialist in London. I have rung her 8 times today just to see how she is."

Sandra suffered from sepsis just before Harry entered the I'm A Celebrity jungle, almost causing him to pull out of the show to be with her.

But she fortunately rallied and was well enough to fly to Australia to celebrate with her husband when he won the ITV show in December.

How long have they been married for?

After they met at the pub, the couple tied the knot four years later in 1967.

That means the pair have been married for 52 years.

Harry Redknapp has stated during his time in the jungle that he has never ironed his own shirt, cooked or cleaned for himself through their marriage.

The former football manager revealed that he has never had a row with his better half – but has accidentally ran over her foot in the past.

How many children do they have?

The couple has two children together, sons Jamie and Mark.

Jamie is the more famous of the two, having played under his dad at Southampton and West Ham, while also turning out for Liverpool and Tottenham.

The 45-year-old was married to pop singer Louise for 19 years before getting a divorce in December 2017.

They have two sons, Charley and Beau.

Harry's other son Mark is a model.

What is his new show about?

Harry is hoping to return plump football players to their former glory by getting one final hurrah over the old enemy, the Germans.

As part of a hilarious new two-part ITV series, Harry’s Heroes: The Full English, many of the lardy legends — including David Seaman, Chris Waddle, Matt Le Tissier, and Paul Merson — are called on to play on the condition they get into shape.

Harry, supported by former Liverpool star John Barnes, has 12 weeks with the squad of 13 before their grudge showdown.
