Wilder vs Ortiz 2 confirmed for Las Vegas on November 23 with Bronze Bomber set for Tyson Fury after – The Sun

DEONTAY WILDER has officially confirmed he will defend his WBC Heavyweight Title with a rematch against Luis Ortiz on November 23.

The pair will face off for a second time in Las Vegas after the Bronze Bomber's knockout victory over the Cuban last year in New York.

And that leaves the American Wilder still on course for another highly-anticipated rematch with Tyson Fury in February.

The Gypsy King has been desperate for another shot at Wilder after last December’s thrilling draw.

But the title holder revealed in August he intended to battle Ortiz again first.

However, the American giant warned Fury to brace for impact next year.

Wilder told BBC Sport: “Ortiz is definitely happening. I am looking forward to fighting him.

“After I knock him out I will go to Fury, knock him out and then we will go for a unification.”

Wilder has fought just once since the Fury clash, KO’ing Dominic Breazeale in May.

He has held the WBC heavyweight title since 2015.

And should he win his rematch with Fury in 2020, Wilder could decide to face the winner of Andy Ruiz Jr vs Anthony Joshua in an attempt to unify the division by adding the IBF, WBO and WBA titles to his collection.
