A Place in the Sun newbie gets brutal triple rejection as couples halt property tours – with one spooked by eerie sign

LEAH Charles-King joined the A Place in the Sun family only last October, with the presenter trading in her children's TV career for one in property.

The gorgeous Channel 4 host recently spoke to Express.co.uk about the drama that goes on behind the scenes.

She revealed that whilst she loves meeting the house-hunters for every episode: "There's just so much banter and so much fun", things aren't always straightforward.

Leah explained: "There's always drama I think in every episode I've done so far!"

She and the A Place in the Sun team ensure they work incredibly hard to make sure their house hunters are looked after, but they aren't always impressed with the properties chosen.

This can make for some incredibly awkward moments, but it translates into excellent television.

Leah told the publication: "I've seen quite a few of the episodes we have shot so far, and even from me watching as a viewer I've been entertained so I hope that the audience enjoys them as much as I've enjoyed filming them."

According to the star, there have been multiple occasions where guests have been so against their property choices, they've had to halt the viewings midway through.

"If they don't like it then I'm not going to flog a dead horse as they say".

The same couple had also felt "bad vibes" about another property, which caused the Channel 4 team to just give up on that home straight away.

Leah explained: "There was a cracked mirror and she felt that there were bad vibes and she really disliked the property and I just said, ‘Shall we leave?’ and she said, 'Yeah, let's go'."
