Cheryl says her 'mind is blown' by reaction to new single Let You as fans praise her comeback

CHERYL says her "mind is blown" by the huge support she has had to her new single Let You.

The 35-year-old singer released her new track – which sees her strip topless in the video – today, and has been bombarded with positive feedback from her fans, much to her surprise.

The former Girls Aloud band member tweeted: "You know what’s crazy? After allllllll these years! It still blows my mind the lengths you guys will go to to support me."

Supporters flocked to the online platform to praise the star for her latest launch, which some hailing it the "summer anthem".

One tweeted: "LET YOU! An absalute f***inggg tunee!! Il be gyming to that like mad @CherylOfficial cheryll well uve bloody done it again QUEEN OF MUSIC."

Another wrote: "SUMMER ANTHEM INCOMING", while another gushed: "Get ready for that 6th number one!"

A separate fan shared: "You know when u can’t even describe how proud … yeah same."

"Call my name was so iconic I can feel this will be too!!", swooned another.

Cheryl has shown her appreciation, as she replied to some of the compliments.

In response to one sweet comment, she wrote: "Thank you from the bottom of my heart!"

After being complimented for her dancing ability in the music video, the star has also invited followers to try and copy the choreography.

She tweeted: "You should do the choreo (not necessarily now) and send me your videos. I’d love that!"

In the video Cheryl cosies up to a sexy bloke with tattooed arms in the video, who has tattoos on his arm similar to her ex-boyfriend Liam Payne, as she talks about relationship mistakes.

She sings: "For a moment I forgot I had a voice, so I'm telling you what you're about to lose.

"You don't understand the chance I took on you, baby you should know that in my eyes."

"I let you put your hands on my body every time, I gave what you want. When am I going to get mine?"

But fans are convinced she's used her latest single to talk about her relationship with her former flame.

The former couple – who share two-year-old son Bear – split in July 2018 after two years together, although Cheryl has insisted there is no bad blood between them.

It's been four years since Cheryl last released music and she admitted that her break from the industry helped her "refocus".

Cheryl previously vowed to quit music if her comeback failed to dent the top 80.
