Coleen Rooney made wayward Wayne return to England to have fifth baby after antics including booze-up with US barmaid – The Sun

COLEEN Rooney is finally seizing control of misbehaving husband Wayne – by securing his return to England where she wants to try for a fifth child.

In 11 years of marriage she has endured plenty of turmoil –– with The Sun yesterday exposing the true extent of Wayne’s £1million gambling habit in the latest shock revelation about his behaviour.

But after more than a decade of the footballer rolling the dice on their future, the 33-year-old mum-of-four’s decision to haul the family back to the UK after a disastrous year in the US looks like her safest bet yet.

The move isn’t just a chance to spend more time with her family and friends after a lonely stint in Washington DC.

It marks a major victory and a chance for her to rebuild her own life and take back control.

Friends say she has already mapped out a long-term future for the family at the £20million dream home in Cheshire that they have spent almost three years building.

And this includes relaunching her own career and potentially adding to their family with a fifth child.

As one explained, the troubled ex-England captain has finally agreed to put his family ahead of football — and his long-suffering wife couldn’t be happier.

For Coleen, it’s a fresh start and a chance of the life she always dreamed of before a string of personal scandals including cheating, prostitutes, boozing and legal problems threatened time and again to derail their life together.

In a message to close friends on social media this week she admitted it has been “a difficult year”, and she was desperate to quit the US for the sake of their marriage and kids Kai, nine, Klay, six, Kit, three and 15-month-old Cass.

And while many onlookers questioned her repeated willingness to tolerate his antics, sources say family- focused Coleen remains steadfast in her belief they are finally on track to enjoy their happy ending.

One pal explained: “She has always loved being a mum ahead of everything else, and still feels their family could expand further once they’re back.

“It wasn’t feasible in the US but when they return, another baby is a definite possibility.

“She has always felt that whatever Wayne has put her through in their marriage he is a great dad, and being good parents together is their strongest asset.”

Earlier this week The Sun told how she was the driving force behind their shock early move back to the UK, which will see Wayne take on a player-coach role at Derby County in January.

It came after a year of crippling misery and loneliness which has seen her feeling increasingly isolated, with nobody to turn to for friendship and only gym classes to keep herself busy.

Her struggle to settle even prompted her parents to fly out to support her as she dealt with Wayne’s latest misdemeanours which saw him arrested for being drunk and disorderly while getting off a flight and just a few weeks later spotted hitting the bottle with a glamorous barmaid in Florida.

Video footage of him jumping into a car with blonde Vicki Rosiek after the ten-hour session in February left his marriage hanging by a thread once again, but sources say Coleen is prepared to start over again once they return to Britain.

After moving into the stunning mansion, set in 40-acres, friends say she plans to get straight down to business by focusing on her own career — which she put on hold to follow Wayne’s American dream.

Those close to her say she regrets letting her ambitions in fashion and TV fall by the wayside, and with her family nearby, intends to rebuild the multi-million-pound brand she created around herself and commit to more charity work in memory of her sister, Rosie, who died of brain disorder Rett syndrome in 2013 aged 14.

Coleen is already moving back, with Wayne following suit two months later, but flying back and forth regularly in the interim to avoid too much time apart.

For Coleen, it’s the home stretch in a chapter of their life she is eager to draw a line under as quickly as possible.

A source explained: “Coleen showed she had plenty of strings to her bow with her clothing ranges and TV things.

“She was really popular with ordinary women and loads of brands wanted to work with her too, and she was making a fortune, but she had to park all of that to sit at home alone in Washington.

“She’s itching to get back to it and earn her own money again through her own ideas as soon as Cass gets settled in nursery.”

But while she’s eager to move forwards and rebuild a life in the North-West, it seems Coleen is taking no chances with Wayne and keeping him on a tight lead.

The Sun told how she was furious to discover his new role would see him expected to promote gambling firm 32Red despite his own previous issues with betting.

Insiders say she wasted no time in expressing her horror that he would become a poster boy for the industry after betting set him on a destructive path — culminating in a blowout of up to £1million in a single night at a casino.

He had already admitted racking up thousands of pounds of bets in his career — blowing a fortune in his efforts to chase his losses.

It was the latest shock revelation in a long string of damning incidents that have tarnished his reputation — and humiliated his wife.

And she’s now installed her brother, Anthony McLoughlin at the heart of his management team — ensuring he will have nowhere to hide in future.

Anthony, who has previously been tasked with chaperoning Wayne to keep him out of trouble, is now working for Triple S Sports and Entertainment, the firm run by the star’s long-standing agent Paul Stretford.

A source explained: “It will be a tense couple of months apart for Wayne and Coleen — the longest they have ever spent away from each other — but it must be reassuring having Anthony involved.

“He’s one of Coleen’s closest confidantes and has always had her back — having him in the management team officially should keep Wayne on the straight and narrow.”

Sports sources say Wayne could easily have secured an even more lucrative move to play in China — but realised he had already pushed his wife to breaking point.

A switch could have seen him pocket millions during a final stint at the top, but instead he has turned his attention to a future in coaching and management — and admits he still has a lot to learn about life on the sidelines.

One confidante said he is determined to ensure his family survives after all he has put them through.

A world away from her loneliness in Washington, Coleen is now focused on putting the final touches to their dream home and spending time with friends in Cheshire before the family reunite permanently this autumn — even squeezing in a trip to a theme park.

With a snooker room, gym, pool, steam room, sauna, bar, wine cellar, cinema and huge underground garage for their collection of cars, the property ticks every box.

As one friend put it: “This is the life she wants, and she’s wasting no time sliding straight back into it.

“Everyone close to her just hopes the dream becomes a reality now.”
