Coronation Street’s Katie McGlynn shares body transformation after leaving soap

Coronation Street star Katie McGlynn has started a new fitness journey since leaving the cobbles last month.

The former Coronation Street cast member, who played Sinead Tinker on the show, has been undergoing intensive training in Ultimate Performance gym in Manchester.

Taking to Instagram this week, the 26-year-old shared a series of shots from the weight machines and opened up about her new approach to health and fitness.

She said: "I've felt like I've reached a plateau this week. My weight on the scales haven't budged and I think hormones have a big part to play… you know what I'm saying gals?!

"Hormones are a b*tch! I've felt weaker than usual and more lethargic – but instead of straying or being lazy I've kept on track because I know this is normal for women and I just have to stay consistent and push through it."

Katie thanked her personal trainer for fixing her a solid nutrition plan, and for "keeping track" of her progress.

"My clothes are looser, I'm seeing a difference in my shape! So I know I am still making progress and feeling kooky despite feeling crappy at the start of the week."
