Danny Miller toasted Im A Celeb win with late-night booze-up with David Ginola

Danny Miller toasted his I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! victory with a late-night red wine session with his “hero” David Ginola.

A video from the evening shows King Danny showing Ginola the moves to Abba’s Dancing Queen.

The session did not even get started until 2.30am when Danny returned to a luxury Welsh hotel having been crowned at Gwrych Castle.

“I had very little sleep,” admitted Danny referring to his drinks with the ex-Newcastle and France footballer which went into extra time.

“I had David Ginola knocking on my door at about half two in the morning. It was the best night with the most amazing people that I met in camp. What an experience, bro. What an experience. I’m honestly still on cloud nine.

“David was waiting to go back to his family in France. So we came back at a ridiculous time in the morning and we still had the opportunity to have one last goodbye drink together and he loves his red wine.

“So, yeah, we had a chance to say goodbye and see you soon kind of thing. It was amazing to see him because obviously, it was me, Frankie, and Simon all left at the same time and coming back into the hotel complex. It was so good. I didn’t really sleep.”

Reflecting on their bromance, the 30-year-old added: “He was somebody that I really leaned on. I have nothing but good things to say about David Ginola. He’s a hero, man, and he never let me down. I’ve never met anybody like him who’s made an impact in my life that he has very quickly.”

Danny, 30, triumphed on the ITV show on Sunday night after leaving fiancée Steph Jones and baby son Albert behind to go into Gwrych Castle for 20 days.

The Emmerdale star came close to calling it a day several times, especially after time in the show’s prison.

He said: "There were a lot of things thrown at us and there were a lot of people saying they wanted to quit. They hadn’t signed up for this experience. The Clink was hard. I don’t think I realised how hard it was when I signed up.

"But there’s no point in me lying. The truth is that I wouldn’t have been able to afford to walk away from it. I think it was a mental challenge for me. Everyone in there had their own mental battles, and people in there including me have got their own mental health issues and stuff.

"I left my job at Emmerdale to go out there and show the world what Danny Miller is about as opposed to the Danny Miller who plays Aaron in Emmerdale."
