EastEnders Kellie Bright works out ahead of return to soap – after it's revealed on-screen husband Danny Dyer has quit

EASTENDERS Kellie Bright worked out ahead of her return to the soap – after it was revealed her on-screen husband Danny Dyer has quit.

The actress, 45, who plays Linda Carter, went for a brisk walk with her dog.

Kellie – who plays Linda Carter in EastEnders  looked stylish in a bright green top as she got in a work out before returning to the hit BBC1 show.

She teamed her top with tight leggings that showed of her toned legs.

The former Strictly Come Dancing star pushed her hair back in a bun for her low-key walk and showed off a fresh-faced look with no make-up.

Kellie who has been away from the show on maternity leave after having her adorable 'miracle' son Rudy last year, was pictured outdoors as it was announced Danny has quit the soap after being poached by Sky.

The 44-year-old actor, who plays Queen Vic landlord Mick Carter, is thought to have signed for a rival drama in a six-figure deal.

While that is significantly less than he earns at the BBC, he would be free to pursue opportunities outside the Corporation that could see his income rocket.

The departure is set to leave the popular soap with huge shoes to fill.

A spokesperson for the soap said tonight: “Danny will be leaving EastEnders when his contract comes to an end later this year.

"Danny has made Mick Carter an iconic character which we shall always be grateful for.

"However we won’t be saying goodbye just yet as there’s still quite some time – and plenty of explosive drama for Mick – to come before he departs Walford."
