EastEnders star Max Bowden begs fans for information as his former drama student goes missing aged 15 – The Sun

EASTENDERS star Max Bowden has begged fans for information after learning that his former drama student has gone missing.

Frankie McGurk, aged 15, was last seen on the 5th May and Lambeth Police have said that they are "really concerned for his welfare".

Max, who plays Ben Mitchell in the BBC One soap, retweeted the official Missing Person's appeal before adding his own heartfelt message.

He wrote: "I taught Frankie a couple of years back at St Andrews school in Croydon.

"If anybody has any information at all PLEASE contact Lambeth Police. Or 999. Praying for better news."

The original tweet from the police had a picture of the teen and read: "Police continue to look for #missing Frankie McGURK, 15yrs old.


"He's 5'06 and of slim build. He was last seen 05/05 and we are really concerned now for his welfare.

"Please call 999 if seen. #Croydon #Brixton #Bexley #Kent #ThamesValley".

Max, 25, delivered a number of workshops for GCSE Drama and Key Stage 3 Performing Arts classes at the school before shooting to fame in EastEnders.

He previously starred in BBC drama Waterloo Road, and passed on his expertise to other acting hopefuls.
