Suki Panesar (played by Balvinder Sopal) has become one of the most calculated villains EastEnders has ever seen. Earlier this week Suki’s daughter Ash (Gurlaine Kaur Garcha) was caught stealing money from her family’s business by her brother Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol). It was part of Eve Unwin’s (Heather Peace) plan to get the Slater’s money back, however, when Suki learns the whole the truth of the matter, will she order Khareet to be attacked to get her revenge?

On Friday’s episode, Suki approached Ash and Kheerat looking for answers, telling them: “Confession time, let’s go. Hurry up and tell me what you’ve done so I can start fixing it.”

Her businessman son explained that he gave the Slaters their money back because it was a “smart move”.

Suki raged: “So you think that handing over thousands of pounds for no good reason is a smart move?

“This is about that Slater girl, are there any dysfunctional women in the Square that you haven’t yet slept with?”

Her son snapped: “This isn’t about Stacey, it’s about doing the right thing.”

Suki, who was getting more annoyed as the conversation continued, fumed: “The right thing? For who?

“We’re trying to build a legacy here and how have you made us look?

“Weak and naive – you know sometimes I think that you want to fail.”

However, Ash interrupted her mother while she was ripping into Kheerat to make an admission about the money.

She told her: “It’s not his fault, it’s mine. Eve conned me and I had to pay them the money otherwise she would have got me struck off.

“I stole from the call centre savings and Kheerat caught me.”

An outraged Suki said: “So one child steals from the family and the other one covers it up. I work my fingers to the bone for this family and for what?

“A doctor who risks her career and a businessman who gives his money away. Are you proud of yourselves?”

Kheerat chimed in: “Are you? Listen to yourself, is it any wonder that Ash would rather rob us than tell you the truth? She made one mistake mum, just one. I think we’ve all been guilty of that am I right?”

Later on in the episode, Suki ran into Eve who explained that her new wife Stacey had no involvement in the matter. However, Suki refused to listen to Eve and left the cafe where they bumped into each other without saying a word.

Suki is clearly upset her son Kheerat has gone behind her back, so will she order him to be attacked to get her revenge?

Will Suki be able to get over Ash’s admission about stealing from the safe, or will she try and teach her a lesson too?

EastEnders airs Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on BBC One.
