Emma Bunton shocks Amazon employees with surprise visit for Christmas | The Sun

SPICE Girls star Emma Bunton has surprised Amazon employees with a shock visit to the depot before Christmas.

The singer headed to the Tilbury fulfilment centre on an unannounced trip to visit shift workers for a festive treat as she launched her new audio book.

Baby Spice stopped to chat with employees as she treated them to a sneak peek at her new children's book she narrated for Amazon.

Mother-of-two Emma, 46, told the workers how she wanted to take part after years of performing stories for Beau, 15, and Tate, 11.

She also told them of how her husband Jade, who she wed last year, would get into character and bring the words to life.

"Jade and I have always loved reading to our children," she said. "It’s such a special one-on-one time when we can all immerse ourselves into a world within the pages.

“We as a family also love to adopt different character voices and entertaining each other while reading."

Emma concluded of her "excitement" to read the tale as she headed to the depot for the launch of the book.

Titled 'Uncle Jay’s Dream Team', the book celebrates Amazon employees, partners, and drivers, recognising all the people behind every delivery.

The tale follows a girl called Avery, whose Uncle Jay coaches her out of a football match loss with a motivating pep talk, pulling in his Amazon co-workers to help.
