Emmerdale death confirmed, EastEnders affair scandal and Corrie split heartbreak

Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks continue to bring the drama next week.

Soap fans up and down the country can expect heartbreak, tension and hard-hitting scenes as our favourite characters continue to cause chaos.

A Weatherfield couple split up after news of a drunken kiss makes its away around the cobbles and a steamy affair is set move onto the next level over in Albert Square.

Also, a Hollyoaks villian is harbouring a huge family secret which could tear the clam apart and there's a huge shock in Emmerdale as a dead body is discovered.

Daily Star has put together some soap highlights for the week ahead.

Coronation Street

Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) is left heartbroken next week and splits with husband David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) after he drunkenly tries to kiss Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon).

Meanwhile, Daniel Osborne (Rob Mallard) is left concerned when he sees Max Turner (Paddy Beaver) covered in bruises as he visits him in prison.

Also, Carla Connor (Alison King) is left feeling disorientated as she continues to be drugged by evil Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce).


Linda Carter's (Kellie Bright) world is rocked when she receives a photo of Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) and Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) from Carly Wicks (Kellie Shirley).

Also, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) and Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) meet at The Vic and the pair share a passionate reunion in the bathroom but are later greeted by sarcastic comments.

Elsewhere, Denise Fox (Diane Parish) shares a passionate kiss with Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) and agrees to meet him at a hotel behind husband Jack Branning's (Scott Maslen) back.


Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) and Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) are left shaken when the harpist playing at their B&B launch event dies.

Meanwhile, Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) becomes frustrated when her advances to Nicky (Lewis Cope) keep getting brushed off and he makes a shock decision.

And Scheming Samson Dingle (Sam Hall) continues to sow discontent between Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) and Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell).


Norma Crow (Glynis Barber) lets slip she's harbouring a huge secret from her son Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas).

Elsewhere in the village, Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw) accidentally hits Zoe Anderson (Garcia Brown) and gets arrested for being drunk and disorderly.

Shing Lin Leong (Izzie Yip)leads Charlie Dean (Charlie Behan) astray as the pair break into the empty school and mess around in the hall, playing the drums and singing, but they’re soon caught by Nancy Osborne (Jessica Fox) and Sally St Claire (Annie Wallace).
