Emmerdale fans work out Gabby Thomas downfall after gun twist on the ITV soap

Emmerdale fans have "figured out" Gabby Thomas' downfall after she accidentally shot Will Taylor during the ITV soap's special flash forward week of episodes.

Only recently, Gabby has been paranoid that "dead" ex Jamie Tate is back and is after their son, Thomas, after she overheard his daughter Millie sharing a "secret" message to her baby brother from their dad.

Things took a dramatic turn on Monday when Gabby learnt that a hooded figure had been spotted on the security camera and she searched the woods looking for the mystery person, where she spotted them hiding behind a tree.

While on Tuesday's episode, Gabby was left freaked out as she found a parcel in Home Farm with a babygrow inside which said "daddy's little star" and it ended with a mystery person stealing a gun.

On Wednesday's instalment, it was revealed that Gabby had stolen a gun from Home Farm as she went out into the woods in search of "dead" Jamie, who she is convinced is back, and accidentally shot Will.

Thankfully, Will survived the gunshot as doctor Liam Cavanagh was called to Home Farm to treat him, where he promised not to report the incident as long as nobody ever finds out as he could be struck off.

Later in the episode, Kim Tate returned home and was left stunned to see Will injured, where he pretended that he had fallen in the woods.

However, soap watchers were quick to point out that surely Kim will notice that her glass cabinet has been smashed and one of her guns missing, therefore linking the two and leading to Gabby's downfall.

Taking to Twitter, one person said: "Kim's not gonna notice the smashed gun cabinet then? #Emmerdale."
