Emmerdale Pierce killer comeback baffles fans as they spot return plot hole

Emmerdale viewers were left on the edge of their seats when it was revealed that Pierce Harris (Jonathan Wrather) was Graham Foster's (Andrew Scarborough) killer.

Emmerdale spoilers have revealed that Pierce will begin to look for work around Home Farm in upcoming episodes.

It was clear from the moment evil Emmerdale cast member Pierce returned to the village that there was trouble on the horizon.

Pierce followed doomed Graham back to the village and killed him after he warned him to stay away from Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry).

The vet has no idea of the real danger she is in as her evil ex-husband Pierce watched her from afar.

Fans of the show will know that Pierce raped Rhona in heartbreaking scenes in 2017 only hours after they got married.

The villain put his wife through months of torment before he was jailed two years ago, as he was finally sentenced after a gruelling rape trial.

Rhona was informed last month that Pierce was being released from jail via a phone message.

Graham deleted the message from her phone but ITV viewers are convinced that Rhona would have received more correspondence from the police on the release of her attacker.

One fan penned on social media: "Wouldn't Rhona have more information about Pierce being released other than a phone message?"

Another added: "I would have thought they would make sure they had spoken to Rhona rather than leave a message."

A third soap viewer pointed out: "Sure Rhona would have had a letter about Pierce being released from jail."

Rhona doesn't know what she's looking for and is yet to find out her rapist killed the man she loves.

As police continue to decipher what happened on the night of the crime, Graham's partner Rhona is determined to find out who murdered her boyfriend.

Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) has been arrested for the murder of Graham even though he's innocent.

How will Rhona react when she realises her abusive ex is back in the village?

Emmerdale continues on ITV at 7pm tonight.
