Emmerdales Harriet star opens up on soap exiit
Emmerdale's Harriet Finch star has opened up on her exit from the ITV soap.
Even though things aren't looking good for Harriet fans have insisted she's "not really dead."
Katherine Dow Blyton stars as Harriet on the soap and said she was left "emotional" when she read the script.

She said: “I got very emotional reading it. on the actual day, I was covered in blood and I had various bits of woodland hanging out of my hair. We had these industrial wind machines which were literally blowing sand and debris into your eyes.
"So when it came to it, it wasn’t as emotional because the technicality of what you have to do takes away from the emotion, so I managed to get through the day without sobbing."
The star added that her exit may take a while to "sink in" and it hasn't "hit her" that she won't be returning yet.
Even though she seems to have confirmed that this could be the end for Harriet, fans of the soap seem unconvinced.
One person tweeted: "I'm betting Harriet ain't' dead, Amelia delivering a premature sprog, Liv & Al to peg it, and possibly Aaron too. Everybody else hunky dory. Kerry set to gouge gormless Chas's eyes out. #emmerdale"
Another said: "Amelia still has her jeans on. Maybe Harriet’s not dead, amazing how Dan was on the exact same path. Chas, Al – pathetic #emmerdale."
While a third penned: "#emmerdale I am not convinced Harriet is dead I dunno its just a feeling."
A storm hit the Dales as Kim (Claire King) prepared to marry Will (Dean Andrews) who has a special bond with Hairriet.
However Kim taunted Harriet because she won his affections.
Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) went to meet her boyfriend Noah fora picnic and ended up in caught in the beginning of the storm and being thrown into an early labour.
In a frantic search for the terrified mum-to-be, Harriet took a quadbike headed out to find the teen, meanwhile Kim got on her horse and prepared to do the same.
In the midst of blistering weather, a tree fell into the path of Harriet who was thrown from her quadbike.
While it appeared she was okay, the quad bike then plunged into the ravine and landed directly on the former police woman.
Stumbling upon Harriet, Kim jumped off her horse and dragged her from the wreckage.
In last nights episode Kim pulled Harriet free from under the quadbike but there was a lightning strike and Harriet has been left for dead.
