Emmerdales Will Taylor takes deadly action to find Jamie Tate on ITV soap

Emmerdale looks set for dramatic scenes as Will Taylor took "deadly" action to find Jamie Tate on Wednesday's episode.

Only recently, Gabby Thomas has been convinced that "dead" Jamie is back and is after their son, Thomas, with a series of clues heightening her paranoia.

On Tuesday's episode, police officer Harriet Finch revealed new information and told Will that there had been a sighting of someone who looked like Jamie spotted at Hazel's house.

During the latest instalment, Will debated whether to tell Kim Tate that her son Jamie is possibly alive but soon changed his mind when she revealed how he almost destroyed her.

Later in the episode, Will met up with a dodgy friend of his called Mike as the latter said: "So this walking corpse, how are you so sure he's still alive?"

To which Will admitted: "I'm not, I just need to know, one way or another."

Mike then explained: "Makes it expensive. Well really dead and missing means finding someone the police couldn't. Pretend dead implies an extra motive for him staying hidden."

He added: "Question, what do you want done if I find him? Well, yeah, as in how keen are you for him to resurface?"

Will was left stunned as he asked: "Are you offering to make him disappear?" with Mike responding: "Are you asking me to?"

It ended with Will saying: "I just need to know where he is because when I do, I can make sure he never shows his face around here again."

Earlier this week, Emmerdale fans called for the return of a character on Tuesday's episode as police officer Harriet revealed new information about "dead" Jamie.

Harriet revealed: "I made some enquiries, nothing official obviously. It seems someone matching Jamie's description was spotted helping Hazel move out."

With Will replying: "So you think he's alive?"

To which Harriet admitted: "I think there's more to this than meets the eye…"

Viewers were left distracted during the scenes as they were quick to question where PC Swirling was, who is usually the go-to police officer on Emmerdale and works with Harriet.

Taking to Twitter, one person said: "Where's PC Swirling? #Emmerdale."

A different account joked: "PC Harriet doing Swirling out of a job. Not on. #Emmerdale."
