Frankie Bridge has revealed she 'would have been rubbished online' had she entered I'm a Celeb months after welcoming a newborn baby.

The former Saturdays star, 33, appeared on Thursday's episode (June 23) of Loose Women alongside Charlene White, Kelle Bryan and Linda Robson.

Discussing returning to work after giving birth, Frankie shared her view that had she entered the castle after welcoming a newborn like 2021 winner Danny Miller, she would have been criticised.

Frankie said: "Like, I know from being in the castle, Danny's baby was like a newborn and everyone was kind of like, 'wow, that's amazing.'

"'He's providing for his son' and 'isn't he great for doing that?'

"I imagine if that was me and I was leaving my newborn child… imagine the rubbish I would receive.

"So, it's interesting I think."

During the chat, Frankie also revealed that she had initially planned to retire from her singing career and showbiz following the birth of her first son Parker.

However, she later confirmed that her commitment to The Saturdays and her love for working eventually led her to reconsider and keep up her showbiz career.

Frankie's comments follow Danny confirming his first post-Emmerdale role earlier this month.

The king of the castle played Aaron Dingle on the ITV soap before his exit.

He has since been confirmed to lead the cast of a pantomime Jack and The Beanstalk at the Bradford Theatre.

Danny will appear in the production from December 10 to January 22 next year.

The 31-year-old actor and his partner Steph Jones welcomed their first child months before he joined the I'm a Celeb line-up last year.

Steph gave birth to their son Albert in October 2021 just a few weeks before Danny entered the castle.

Loose Women airs from 12.30 pm on weekdays while I'm a Celeb will return this winter to ITV.
