Gogglebox legends unrecognisable in glam throwback snap after show announcement
Gogglebox stars Dave and Shirley Griffiths have sent fans into meltdown with a throwback picture from a trip to Benidorm.
Welsh TV personality Dave took to their joint Twitter page to share the snap with their 82,000 followers on Sunday (May 14).
The couple can be seen sitting together as Dave holds a drink in hand and Shirley kicks her leg up in front of the camera.

Shirley can be seen sporting a brunette curly perm wearing a stunning yellow minidress, while her husband Dave wears a smart shirt and trousers.
Dave penned alongside the snap: "These were great times, #Beniform holidays #funinthesun #gogglebox."
Unsurprisingly, viewers rushed to leave a comment for the couple under the snap.
One fan posted: "What a pair!"
Another added: "Gorgeous xx."
A third person posted: "Jeez! Look at you both. Fun times I bet?"
While a fourth social media user said: "Love this photo! You both look fantastic."
It comes after Dave and Shirley were missing from the latest episode which aired on Friday (May 12).
Dave has since issued an announcement after fans were left concerned for the dynamic duo after noticing their absence.
One fan tweeted: "Where was @daveandshirley this week?"
Dave replied from their joint Twitter account: "Shirley was a bit under the weather last week, thanks for your concern see you next week xx."
Dave and Shirley, who are from Caerphilly, have been on the show since 2015 and are fan favourites.
They are known for their hilarious quips and regularly update their social media followers with their lives on and off screens.
Last summer, the married couple took a break from filming but returned to the show in the autumn.
Gogglebox airs Fridays on Channel 4 at 9pm
