Gogglebox stars Lee and Jenny reveal when the show is coming back – and we don’t have long to wait | The Sun

GOGGLEBOX'S biggest stars have revealed when the show will be back on our screens next year.

The good news is, we won't have long to wait, with Lee Riley and Jenny Newby letting fans into the date today.


They posted from his Hull caravan in a special Christmas message to viewers of Channel 4's Gogglebox.

He said, wearing a bright blue festive jumper: "Merry Christmas everybody."

Jenny added: "And a happy new year. The end of the series, it's been a good'un."

Lee said: "Thank you so much for your support over the year and for when Jenny was poorly but now she's back on form… totally."

At that last comment he pulled a face, adding: "Anyway, have a lovely Christmas and we'll see you all in February."

Jenny added: "Yes." Lee asked her: "What do you keep saying yes for?"

She replied: "Because that's when I'm coming back. I'm coming back in January then. No. I'm coming back in February."

Lee added with a laugh: "Fingers crossed."

One fan echoed the views of many, writing: "Merry Christmas to you both ,thank you for all the lols.

"You both never fail to make me laugh and cheer me up .Xx??."

Jenny was taken to hospital earlier this year – meaning she had to watch the show's Bafta win from her NHS bed.

Speaking after the ceremony, Lee told reporters: "Jenny was supposed to be here, but she’s had to have a minor operation. 

“It came this week and she couldn’t turn it down. She’s actually still in hospital so she’ll be watching from there from her hospital bed.”

The previous week, neither of the pair – who usually pop up in every episode – had appeared.
